Alternative Energy

OK. This is going to be a non-sexual, "think about it' type post.

In December, thanks in most part to my Wife's expert leadership on household energy issues, our entire monthly energy bill was $103. (!!!)

Unfortunately, in January, when some even more serious wintertime weather hit, our electric bill jumped to $159 -- but we also picked our middle daughter back up at home. And we have a wonderful tankless water heater. Mix that with two teenage daughters and you can see why we might have jumped back up.

But this compares to what?

Our oldest daughter's energy bill at an apartment in an old carved-up house was over $200 each month.

The difference is that we have invested a LOT into energy conservation stuff around here. I have completely re-insulated our attic over the past year or so with R30 insulation. We also have had a vinyl siding job done with an insulation layer to it. As a result, this house will hold heat even when there is no heat available.

My Wife is very serious about alternative energy and energy conservation. She calls herself a "gagety girl." That's for sure. So while we highlight some of the kinkier aspects to our relationship, we'd also like to highlight ways to SAVE energy and the planet. You just might find some energy tips here too!

She loved it!

This is my Valentines gift to my Wife -- many orgasms!

She opened the box while were still in bed this morning. Inside: A plug-in electric vibrator wand! (The Hitachi Magic Wand)

She took it out of the box, put it to her pussy and proceeded to have an orgasm. Next, she commanded her cock to be inside her. Then she orgasmed a couple of times again. Then after I got taxed out, she took the Magic Wand into her hand again. And after she came again, I put her cock back inside her and she came again ...

This evening we had Italian take-out from a big Italian restaurant, and had a nice romantic dinner.

Then we went to a huge urban meet and greet swing party. We decided not to attend any of the after-parties.

I'm not sure either of us could have taken any more!

Still Cutting Wood

This too will pass.

My Wife and I have made a priority to pick up the bounty of free firewood that is everywhere in our city. This means someone (me) must complete the processing with a chainsaw.

However, this really is a profitable thing. Our December energy bill was a scant $103 thanks to our wood-burning stove.

Anyway ... I have been thinking of how to proceed with this blog. Here are some ideas:

  • Some recent play we've done, including my Wife's Valentine's Day present.
  • My opinion about orgasm control/denial and ... seasonal affective submissiveness.
  • Posts about my Wife's many interests in gadgets -- including alternative energy, etc.
  • Opinions about what is really going on in the United States. ... This may seem off-topic but this country is under a bigger challenge than 9-11 and one party is rising to it. The other party is not. We don't care if you don't think political stuff belongs in the midst of a FLR blog. We do.
This might include our opinions about tobacco and smoking, including how this figures into the swing lifestyle.
  • Plans and progress on our hopes to have some wild times in the coming months, including a swing cruise and visits to some nude/swing resorts this summer.

So I've got lots to write about. You'll be getting to know us both much better in the months ahead.

Iced Down

Hello. We are officially back.

It has been a long week. We were hit by snow, ice and more snow. The ice was the worst as it destroyed one tree and damaged two others. We were without power for 12 hours but -- HA -- we had a generator so we were toasty and even had Internet access!

My Wife and I both worked on the backyard cleanup. The ice buildup on the trees was incredible, and made even cleaning up the mess very difficult because of the tremendous weight.

I handled the chain saw. She snipped smaller limbs and, her favorite, bundled the twigs. We've skipped our daily trips to the gym because we were getting such a great workout cleaning up from the storm. My biceps have really gotten pumped up.

I took several photos of my Wife in the winter nightmare-land looking like a snow bunny. I'd love to share them here but I CAN'T. LOL. So I'll post a small view of our back yard instead.
