It's Been Years ... Really!

Yes. It has been years and now I'm back on this blog. I will explain just what has transpired since 2009 in the next few postings. The short of it is, that sometimes you just burn out on something. And for me, this was one of them.

More Hot Times in the Summertime!

Well, we are BACK!

I'll have a return trip to the tattoo parlor soon for additional work on the tattoo. My Wife suggested this so it's definitely gonna happen.

Meanwhile, our summer has been packed with fun. We spent 10 days at a nude/swing resort and we've booked a nude Caribbean cruise in October, which will dock in Key West for Fantasy Fest.

It has been a while since my last posting. But we've been busy.

It seems like we have a lot of irons on the fire that I can't really discuss here.

But I can say that we've been traveling, starting in March when we were in the Florida Keys. Now we're in the midst of the summer and we're visiting some nude swing resorts. Waxing Down There!

I ran across an online discussion of men who shave or do other things to reduce their pubic hair. So I just had to share my situation:

I wax a "vulva strip" across my balls and pube. The waxing is really quite easy and, relatively painless. I do this because my wife doesn't like stubble, but LOVES the smooth pube to rub against her clit. Think about it. Especially when mherey smooth pube is lubed.

Nair has a home waxing product, which includes both pre-wipes and post-wipes. It's on the shelf in most hair-removal - personal care sections of drug stores or many grocery stores.

You pull these apart, and then apply the waxed strip directly to your pubic hair area. Lay them down following the direction of the hair, leaving the excess paper on the bottom side. You then yank upwards and PRESTO, the hair is gone -- for probably a month. No stubble.

The first times you do it, it does hurt. But the more you do it, the less it hurts, mainly because it REALLY DOESN'T HURT that much. And the results are impressive.

I wax a wide triangle shape above my cock to make a nice, soft rubbing spot for my wife's clit. I also attempt to carefully remove hair from the sides of my balls up to about the mid-point, where her vulva might contact any stubble. The secret to waxing any portion of testicle kin is to keep it absolutely taught -- flat and level -- when you do the peeling.

I keep other portions of my balls shaved and other areas "down there" trimmed to about 1/4 inch. Nice and short but not stubble.

The funny thing is that my wife does not shave whatsoever down there, except a little trim in the summer. Maybe.

Alternative Energy

OK. This is going to be a non-sexual, "think about it' type post.

In December, thanks in most part to my Wife's expert leadership on household energy issues, our entire monthly energy bill was $103. (!!!)

Unfortunately, in January, when some even more serious wintertime weather hit, our electric bill jumped to $159 -- but we also picked our middle daughter back up at home. And we have a wonderful tankless water heater. Mix that with two teenage daughters and you can see why we might have jumped back up.

But this compares to what?

Our oldest daughter's energy bill at an apartment in an old carved-up house was over $200 each month.

The difference is that we have invested a LOT into energy conservation stuff around here. I have completely re-insulated our attic over the past year or so with R30 insulation. We also have had a vinyl siding job done with an insulation layer to it. As a result, this house will hold heat even when there is no heat available.

My Wife is very serious about alternative energy and energy conservation. She calls herself a "gagety girl." That's for sure. So while we highlight some of the kinkier aspects to our relationship, we'd also like to highlight ways to SAVE energy and the planet. You just might find some energy tips here too!

Anyway ... I have been thinking of how to proceed with this blog. Here are some ideas:

• Opinions about what is really going on in the United States. ... This may seem off-topic but this country is under a bigger challenge than 9-11 and one party is rising to it. The other party is not. We don't care if you don't think political stuff belongs in the midst of a FLR blog. We do.
  This might include our opinions about tobacco and smoking, including how this figures into the swing lifestyle.
  
• Plans and progress on our hopes to have some wild times in the coming months, including a swing cruise and visits to some nude/swing resorts this summer.

So I've got lots to write about. You'll be getting to know us both much better in the months ahead.
